Dogecoin made its way into the entertainment industry early with AMC Theatres. It is a movie theater owned by AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc., a movie theater company with headquarters in Kansas City.
After reviving as a “meme stock” company in 2021, AMC started accepting Dogecoin payment in 2022, in addition to Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ethereum. This graduated from accepting crypto payments only for digital gift cards.
